Graphic Mortality

This piece confronts the viewer with the stark reality of human mortality through a bold, contemporary lens.

The traditional symbol of death, a screaming skull, is rendered not with delicate realism, but with a high-contrast, graphic illustration style.

The sharp black and white lines emphasize form and shadow, while the vibrant, artificial pink backdrop of repeating circles places the timeless subject firmly in a modern, pop art context.

The title highlights the intersection of the stylized, graphic medium and the profound, universal theme of the fragility of existence.
