The Persistence of Phantoms

A mesmerizing dialogue with the masters of the subconscious, this piece marries the iconic, liquid form of the melting clock a potent symbol of time’s subjective nature with the towering, yet ethereal, presence of the Surrealist elephant.

Reflected in a shimmering, dark void, the artwork creates a phantom reality where the weighty laws of physics dissolve into a dreamlike state.

The monochromatic palette emphasizes the stark contrast between the solid forms and their dripping, transient shadows, inviting the viewer to contemplate the fluidity of memory and existence itself.
